Recent Best Western Biltmore East Review: "we arrived prior to 3pm check in - our room was not ready yet but desk clerk volunteered to upgrade us to a room with King size bed -- everything was brand new and spotless. Hot complimentary breakfast included eggs, sausage, cereal, biscuits, gravy, some cold cereals, bagels, waffles, juices, coffee, tea -- certainly in this price range more than adequate.  Hotel is very centrally located; convenient to everything in Asheville metro area and away from the "strip" in the other direction where the rest of the cheap hotels and chain restaurants are. Our room had a fridge and microwave. Only two negatives. (1) difficult to get cell phone service (2) if you are in a room fronting the highway it is probably very noisy (our room was facing the back and was very quiet). I would ask for one of the rooms in the back if they will give you one. . . . . . hotel was fairly full and this was MTW in the off season so others must be satisfied with it as well. Remember you are not going to get the Taj Mahal at a discount motel but I would say this was a cut above most other discount chains. There is also an outdoor pool but too cold and rainy for us to use it during this stay . . . . we will definitely stay here again."
