| This is, overall, an excellent choice for staying just outside of Asheville. However, if you are noise-sensitive, be wary of rooms facing the restaurant on the slope below the hotel. Having your windows shut will not prevent you from hearing the country-pop music that the restaurant broadcasts out of doors until about 3 AM. |

| The service and staff were top notch. The rooms were smaller than some hotels I have stayed in, but were very clean and comfortable.
Only provide a shower, but good for business travel.
Free breakfast was very nice including several hot entree choices (bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, oatmeal, etc.)
Will stay there again on my next trip to the area. |

| This hotel seems to have been nicely remodeled recently. The lobby is on the plain side and our room was small but it did have new paint and modern art work, new linens, a flat screen tv and everything was very clean. Breakfast was well done with a decent selection. However, what I think they did not update was the quality or thickness of the walls between rooms. I heard very plainly people walking around in the room above us and people having sex in the room beside us. Unfortunately, all of this happened around 1 am and even if I had called down to the front desk what could have been done? People are allowed to walk around and have sex! I wish this hotel would do some more sound-proofing. Or, if that's not possible, update their air handlers so that a guest can have a consistent, loud fan noise all night long to work as a white noise effect. We tried using our air handler this way but it would cycle on and off. I would not stay in this hotel again but only because I did not get a good night's sleep. |
