| We stayed at this hotel last year and thought we would try it again. Even though it was updated a bit, it is still an older hotel and is in need of more upgrades. The parking lot outside of our room adjoined a gas station. A tourist bus used it as a drop-off area late at night and was very noisy. A bit over priced for what you get. |

| rooms were nice and clean but semies trucks right out side our room was very loud.the hot food was cold and very under cooked.the hotel manager,in front of guest,was complaining about people leaving a mess in the dineing room,and saying what they must do at home,very unprofessional. |

| The staff was extremely friendly, and the hot breakfast was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the room itself was not inviting. There was a stain on the floor, and dirt/grime in the shower. The worst part of the entire stay was the fact that the shower did not drain properly. Within 2-3 minutes of starting the shower, I was standing in about 2 inches of water. The only reason that I would recommend this hotel is because of the low rate compared to surrounding hotels. |

| Hotel is located right off the highway in marion. It was very clean and the staff was very nice. Great value overall. Will definitely be staying here next time I come to Marion. |

| Many motels next to the Interstate can be pretty seedy especially for the low price that we paid. Definitely not the case with this well cared for motel. I would stay there again and suggest the same to my friends. The complimentary breakfast was the only thing which was extremely budget with only whole milk and limited cereal choices. Still, for the price, you can not beat it. The rooms were very clean and updated. Fridge, micro wave and good tv and comfy bed. What else do you need? |

| This is just a bare basics place to sleep. I was on the way to Bakersville, NC from Greenville, SC to ride the Roan Moan Metric Century the next morning. This hotel in more than 1/2 way there. Conveniently located on 221. No frills. Room was clean but old. A little scary, but I have stayed in worse. It was cheap and you get what you pay for. |

| Hotel was clean, but service was not up to par. We were traveling with two children, and the police department was leaving when we pulled up after staff had to call law on another customer. Needless to say we were somewhat worried about our exhausted kids. The comp. breakfast included toast and 1-2 kinds of muffins. No cereal or anything children prefer. |
